Camerata Musicalis Orchestra

Principal Conductor and Founder of the Camerata Musicalis Orchestra, with more than 20 years leading the ensemble.

The Camerata Musicalis Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2004 with the firm intention of making classical music accessible to all audiences and of developing a distinctive and innovative concert vision.

This bold artistic commitment has been warmly received by both audiences and critics, who have recognised and praised an educational approach that has achieved remarkable success in every concert hall where the orchestra performs.

Much More Than a Concert

An innovative concept that allows classical music to be experienced, felt, and truly understood.

Emerging as the natural evolution of Camerata Musicalis’ original format, “Why Is It Special?”, Much More Than a Concert represents a further step in redefining how classical music is shared with wider audiences.

A concert is no longer solely a live musical performance; it becomes a complete immersion into the history, composers, and fascinating insights surrounding each work.

An experience that combines emotion, knowledge, and entertainment, designed to break down barriers and engage even those who never imagined themselves enjoying a symphony.

Music Education & Outreach

Few things are more rewarding than sharing knowledge with others — especially when it concerns music.

My educational work takes place on stage alongside the Camerata Musicalis Orchestra through the format “Much More Than a Concert”, as well as through the theatrical concerts “Captain Beethoven” and “Little Mozart”.

Beyond the concert stage, I continue bringing classical music closer to audiences through lecture series, the publication of the books “Classical Music for Those Who Do Not Yet Know They Love Classical Music” and “The Orchestra and Its Instruments”, and through regular collaborations on radio and television.

Theatrical Concerts

Little Mozart

El pequeño Mozart Cartel

With more than six years on stage, Little Mozart is an engaging theatrical concert in which younger audiences are introduced to Mozart’s life and music.

Edgar Martín takes on the role of the young ‘Wolfi’, sharing captivating anecdotes that shaped the composer’s life, in a performance featuring many of Mozart’s most celebrated masterpieces.

Captain Beethoven

Capitan Beethoven Cartel

Following the spirit and format of Little Mozart, Captain Beethoven continues this imaginative approach and is now in its second season.

Audiences are guided through the defining moments of Ludwig van Beethoven’s life, as Edgar Martín embodies Captain Beethoven — a musical superhero who reveals how the composer overcame adversity to become one of history’s greatest musical figures.
